Make a Pinterest business account if you do not already have one! 

Business and personal are two types of Pinterest accounts. You’ll need to set up a business account to access more insights and track your pin performance.

Option A: New Account

Go to Pinterest: Visit pinterest.com.

Sign Up: Click on “Sign up” and then select “Create a business account.”

Enter Details: Fill in your email address, create a password, and enter your business name. Choose your business type and add a website if you have one.

Complete Registration: Click “Create Account.”

Option B: Convert an Existing Account

Log In: Sign in to your existing Pinterest account.

Convert Account: Click on the three dots at the top right of your screen and select “Settings.”

Business Hub: Choose “Account Settings” and scroll down to “Account Changes.” Click “Convert to a business account.”

Follow Prompts: Fill in the required business information and complete the conversion.

Create a strong profile

To make your profile stand out, you can follow these steps:

  • Use a quality profile picture: Use a professional picture of yourself or your brand’s logo, and make sure it looks good.
  • Add a website link: People can get to your website by putting the URL of your website in your profile. This new leads from your Pinterest profile to your website. In my case, it’ll be https://kristyting.com – yep, exactly where you’re at now, and you’ll do the same – drop your website or blog’s main link.
  • Craft an interesting bio: Show off your personal brand, your skills, and what you can offer your visitors. You can also use keyword research to improve your SEO and drive traffic.analy
  • Create and organize boards: Create group boards reflecting your brand’s niche. Optimize board descriptions and covers.
  • Start pinning, and do it regularly: Always add new pins to your boards. This makes Pinterest users interested in and active in your profile. Allow rich pins to give more information about your pins and the visual search engine.
  • Engage with the community: Follow relevant users, repin their content, and engage with comments on your pins.
